Concord is leading the operational analysis of the City of Bellevue's HOV expansion project on Bellevue Way SE. The objective of the project is to evaluate traffic operations on Bellevue Way SE if a southbound HOV lane were installed between Bellevue Way/112th Avenue SE and the South Bellevue Park and Ride Entrance. Concord developed a microsimulation model of the study corridor to capture the impacts of the proposed improvements on general purpose and HOV vehicles within the corridor. Multiple options were evaluated to identify the preferred alternative to move forward into preliminary design.
